Tony Finau Tee Times, Pairings Announced Ahead Of The Northern Trust

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PGA Tour professional and Utah native Tony Finau will play alongside Billy Horschel and Kevin Na throughout the opening two rounds of The Northern Trust.

Finau, 31, will tee off the 10th tee at 11:06 a.m. on Thursday before beginning his second round off the 1st tee at 6:26 a.m. on Friday.

The Northern Trust marks the first of three FedEx Cup Playoff tournaments as the top PGA Tour professionals contest for the mammoth $60 million prize fund.

Fed Ex Cup Playoffs Explained

The top 125 players in the FedEx Cup standings will compete at The Northern Trust, the following week the field will be cut down to the top 70 players at the BMW Championship before the FedEx Cup Playoff concludes at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, when the top 30 players fight for a $15 million winners prize at the Tour Championship.

Finau is currently ranked 23rd in the Fed Ex Cup standings. Assuming nothing unforeseen occurs over the next two weeks, Finau is pegged to content for Fed Ex Cup supremacy over the next month.

Last year, Finau missed the cut at The Northern Trust before he finished 5th at the BMW Championship. In the Tour Championship Finau concluded the FedEx Cup season with a 17th place finish.
