Former NFL LB Breaks Down Film Of ‘Do-Everything’ Prospect Tyler Allgeier

SALT LAKE CITY – Former NFL linebacker Stevenson Sylvester broke down the tape of draft prospect and former BYU running back Tyler Allgeier.
Sylvester, who played in the league from 2010-14, discussed Allgeier’s potential as an NFL player during KSL TV’s SportsBeat on Sunday, April 3.
During the television segment, the former Utah and NFL player highlighted the BYU standout’s patience and acceleration, as well as his do-everything type of mentality as a football player.

“Tremendous patience in the running game,” Sylvester said as he pointed out Allgeier’s strengths. “He is not afraid of contact, which is exactly what you need going into the NFL.”
Sylvester currently projects Allgeier as a late second or third round pick by the Denver Broncos.

The Fontana, California native played for the Cougars from 2018-21.
During his time in Provo, Allgeier ran the ball 452 times for 2,899 yards and 36 touchdowns.
