Utah Football Players Announce New NIL Initiative

SALT LAKE CITY- Utah football players just announced a new NIL component that they have launched as a team called the Salt Lake NIL Club. The players for Utah football released a statement detailing their plans for the NIL initiative Tuesday afternoon.

What Is The Salt Lake NIL Club?
The Salt Lake NIL Club is a team-wide NIL initiative for Utah football that is membership only that gives fans the opportunity to support and interact with their favorite Utah football players. Proceeds from the club will be split evenly between the 75 + football players involved with the initiative.
A $25+ monthly membership gets fans a signed Zack Moss jersey. $100+ a month commitment gets fans a steak dinner with the players this fall. However, any donation helps and is welcomed according to the release.
Membership includes incentives such as meet-and-greets and Q&As with players, film breakdowns and other player-created content, and a community board to chat with and connect with the players. For more information check out SaltLakeNILClub.com.
Other Utah NIL Components
The LockerRoom is a fan collective that announced their launch in spring with their primary focus being on University of Utah student-athletes and NIL- specifically smaller sports. Local businesses like C.W. Urban have also stepped up to the plate and been a part of the Utes’ NIL efforts as well with football, beach volleyball and gymnastics. Finally, Utah announced an extended partnership with INFLCR in conjunction with their Elevate U Exchange program. This program is available to all student-athletes and helps them navigate the ins and outs of NIL as well as helping to connect them with fans and businesses.
Utah has been a little more quiet than most schools on the NIL front largely due to taking their time to learn and understand the landscape. Things appear to be picking up now with the announcement today from the Utah football players of their Salt Lake NIL Club initiative.
