SALT LAKE CITY – During game two of the Dodgers/Padres NLDS MLB Playoffs series at Dodger Stadium, an unexpected goose entered the field.
At the bottom of the eighth inning, with the San Diego Padres leading the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-3, a goose entered the field of play and was just chilling in shallow right field. As you would expect, social media couldn’t get enough of the goose.
Here are some of the best reactions to the Dodgers/Padres goose.

Play continued with the goose on the field, and the Dodgers got a batter on base. The Dodger Stadium crowd thought they had a “rally goose” on their hands.

The Padres are asking Josh Hader for four outs. The first Padre to record a postseason save of more than one inning? Fittingly, Goose pic.twitter.com/R6QrPng7Jd

To the announcers of the @dodgers vs @padres game – that is NOT a duck on the field. That is a goose. A greater white fronted goose. #birds pic.twitter.com/lWjjue69Dq
