Locker Room Camera Catches Dawson Baker Cheering On Team After Ejection

DENVER – BYU set up a locker room camera for a post-game celebration but also caught a heartwarming moment from Dawson Baker before the end of regulation.
Baker, who had been ejected in the second half with a flagrant two foul, was seen cheering on his team in the final moments.

Dawson Baker Cheers On BYU From Locker Room
Baker was talking his teammates through the game from the locker room. Saying what he thought the Badgers would do, telling BYU to keep their hands up, and more.
Once time expired, he got hyped and did a lap around the room.
It was a sweet moment in an otherwise unfortunate ending to the Round of 32 for Baker.

Prior to his ejection, the junior guard was playing a solid game.
In 17 minutes, he posted eight points, two rebounds, and two assists while shooting 60 percent from the floor.
BYU Basketball Stuns No. 3 Seed Wisconsin, Punches Ticket To Sweet 16
For the first time in 14 years, BYU basketball is headed to the Sweet 16.
The Round of 32 matchup against the No. 3 Wisconsin Badgers was dramatic, to say the least. But, the Cougars still came out on top in a 91-89 win.
Richie Saunders led the way for BYU with 25 points while shooting 56 percent from the floor and 75 percent from three. Three other Cougars scored in double figures. It was a team effort though. BYU led in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, fastbreak points, and points in the paint.
BYU will play the winner of No. 2 Alabama and No. 7 Saint Mary’s in Atlanta next week.
