SALT LAKE CITY – Utah football returns to Salt Lake City this Saturday, fresh off a big week one win in Pasadena, to host the Cal Poly Mustangs at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Utah Faces First-Time Opponent in 2025 Home Opener
Somewhat of a rarity in the college football of today, the next opponent for the Utes is a team they have never faced in school history.
The Big Sky’s Cal Poly Mustangs also opened their season with a big win on the road, defeating the San Diego Toreros 41-17.
Since joining the Pac-12 back in 2011, the Utes have played seven games against Big Sky opponents. They are 7-0 in those games and have an average win margin of over 33 points.
How To Watch Utah Vs. Cal Poly
Utah football will take on the Cal Poly Mustangs in Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, September 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. (MT), and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
