SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 16 Utah football team opens its conference schedule this Saturday at home as it hosts the No. 17 Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Utah Opens Conference Schedule In Salt Lake City
The Utes and Red Raiders have played just twice in the schools’ history, and they have yet to face off as conference opponents.
The two matchups came back in 1972 and 1971. Texas Tech won both games in Lubbock, Texas, with an average win margin of 25 points.
