Final BYU Player Availability Before Kickoff Against Colorado

BOULDER, Colorado – For the first time, the BYU Cougars are releasing a pregame availability report as they approach kickoff against the Colorado Buffaloes.
The Big 12 is requiring each program to submit a series of availability reports before facing conference opponents.
The Cougars’ report didn’t reveal any surprising changes since the Friday evening update.
Colorado is missing eight defensive players, two running backs, and an offensive lineman.

The most notable player being “OUT” here is running back Sione Moa. Moa played in BYU’s last game against East Carolina.
BYU offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick noted that his offense took “a few lumps” in the win over East Carolina.
Kabeya, Phillips, and Bryant-Strother suffered prior injuries.
The other designations include doubtful, questionable, probable, and available.
If a player is listed as doubtful, the Big 12 states that they have a 25% chance of playing. A questionable rating would equal a 50% chance of playing, while a probable rating is 75%. An available listing is set up with the expectation that the player has a 100% chance of playing.
