BYU Football Player Availability Report For West Virginia Week

PROVO, Utah – The initial player availability report for BYU football against West Virginia was released on Tuesday night.
With the matchup between the Cougars and Mountaineers scheduled for a Friday, the first report, mandated by the Big 12 Conference, was released a day earlier.
There will be daily reports on Wednesday, Thursday, and then 90 minutes before kickoff on Friday night.
BYU football player availability report: WVU Week
BYU’s initial report didn’t contain many surprises. The players listed in the ‘OUT’ category were all out for last week’s Big 12 opener against Colorado, which includes running back Sione Moa.

BYU starting right guard Austin Leausa was listed as questionable. Leausa left the win against Colorado early and was in a sling as BYU celebrated its 24-21 victory over the Buffs.
On the defensive side, BYU star linebacker Isaiah Glasker was listed as “Probable.” Glasker had the game-clinching interception in Boulder last week.
BYU starting NICKEL Tommy Prassas, who left the Colorado game early, was also placed in the “probable” section.

On the West Virginia side of the availability report, starting quarterback Nicco Marchiol remains “OUT” for the Mountaineers. Marchiol is dealing with a foot injury.
The Mountaineers are a bit of a mystery as to who they will start at quarterback against BYU.
Along with Marchiol, another two WVU quarterbacks are in the “Questionable” category: Jaylen Henderson, who got the start at QB last week in the loss against Utah, and Florida/Charlotte transfer Max Brown.
