Utah State Football Adds Washington Huskies To Future Schedule

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State football program made headlines during its bye week, announcing a game against the Washington Huskies for the 2026 season.
USU will travel to Seattle, Washington, to meet the University of Washington from the Big Ten at Husky Stadium on Saturday, September 12.

Utah State is 0-3 all-time against Washington in a series that began in 1904. The Huskies have never traveled to Logan for a game.

The Aggies went to Seattle with hopes of an upset but fell behind 31-10 after three quarters. Chuckie Keeton threw two interceptions, with LaJuan Hunt leading the rushing attack with 40 yards on 13 carries. Defensive back Devin Centers intercepted Washington QB Jake Browning for Utah State’s only turnover.

Utah State finished the year with a 6-7 record.
1998: Utah State 12, Washington 53
The Huskies removed any suspense from the game when they scored 22 unanswered points in the first quarter. They held a 53-0 advantage into the fourth before Utah State generated any offensive success. Aaron Jones caught a 17-yard touchdown from Riley Jensen. Emmett White added a rushing touchdown at the goal line to account for the final score.
The Aggies finished the season 3-8 and 1-5 in non-conference action.
1904: Utah State 0, Washington 45
An inauspicious beginning to the series for Utah State came in the early 20th century when the Huskies shut out USU 45-0.
