Jaxson Dart Leads Giants To Massive Thursday Night Win Over Eagles

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Former Roy and Corner Canyon High quarterback Jaxson Dart showed the entire NFL world that he has arrived in week six.
On Thursday Night Football, the New York Giants grounded the Philadelphia Eagles, 34-17.
Dart completed 17 of his 25 pass attempts for 195 yards and a touchdown. He added 58 yards on the ground on 13 carries with another TD with his legs.

Jaxson Dart, New York Giants Shock Eagles In Primetime
The Eagles had beaten the Giants in seven of the last eight matchups between the teams. They had also won 9 of their last 10 games dating to last season, won the Super Bowl, and reigned over the NFC East.
Meanwhile, New York has one of the worst records in the NFL over the last decade, and just one winning record in the last eight seasons.
However, they haven’t met Dart just yet.

The ball got rolling early for the offense.
The first two drives ended in a Dart rushing touchdown and a TD pass to Wan’Dale Robinson.
In what felt like the blink of an eye, New York led 13-3, and all of the Eagles fans in MetLife Stadium were dead silent.
Understandably, young teams led by young players will hit road bumps, especially when playing a team as experienced and dynamic as the Eagles.
Philadelphia responded with two touchdowns on its next two drives and took a 20-17 lead. After that, it turned into the Cam Skattebo show. The rookie back out of Arizona State capped off a 15-play drive with his first touchdown of the night to put New York up 20-17. They would take that lead into halftime.

The second half was about as lopsided as it gets.
Skattebo punched in his second score in the third quarter, and both of the Philly drives ended in quick punts.
The fourth was a mirror image of the third, with a little extra on the side of the Giants. The first Eagles drive was a three-and-out, the second ended in a Jalen Hurts pick, and the third saw a second turnover on an AJ Dillon fumble.
In between those offensive struggles, Skattebo made it a hat trick with his third rushing score.
At the final whistle, New York led 34-17, and delivered a massive win at home over their division rival.
About Jaxson Dart
Dart was born in Kaysville, Utah, where he eventually attended Roy High School. He transferred to Corner Canyon before his senior season.
In 2020 with the Chargers, Dart threw for 4,691 yards and a state-record 67 touchdowns. As a four-star prospect, he committed to USC.
He played just six games with the Trojans, where he completed 117 of his 189 pass attempts for 1,353 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions. On the ground, Dart ran the ball 22 times for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Dart packed his bags and traded Los Angeles sunshine for the college football haven that is the SEC and Ole Miss.
He closed out his collegiate career playing in 39 games for the Rebels with 38 starts. He completed 735 of his 1118 attempts for 10,617 yards and 72 touchdowns.
Ole Miss went 28-10 with Dart at the helm, including a Peach Bowl win in 2024 and a Gator Bowl win in 2025.
Dart’s college accolades include Gator Bowl MVP, 2024 Conerly Trophy Winner, 2024 All-America Honorable Mention, 2024 All-SEC First Team, 2024 CFN SEC QB of the Year, 2024 Manning Award Finalist, and 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Finalist.
Dart completed 32-of-47 passes (68.1 percent) for 372 yards and three touchdowns in his first preseason, but more importantly, the rookie signal-caller did not commit a turnover in his first test against NFL defenses.
He entered the regular season as QB2 on the Giants’ depth chart. After a 0-3 start with Russell Wilson under center, the Giants gave Dart his first start in week four.
