SALT LAKE CITY – In the second start of his young career, Utah Jazz wing Ace Bailey set a new career-high with 17 first-half points with an assortment of moves in a scintillating 14 minutes.

He finished the night with 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting and a career-high four threes.

The Jazz (3-7) are hosting the reeling Indiana Pacers (1-9) at Delta Center on Tuesday, November 11.

It is the third straight game he has scored in double-figures. Bailey scored 12 points in a road loss to Minnesota, reaching double-figures for the first time. Three nights later, Bailey scored ten points in his first career start.

Bailey began the day averaging 6.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.

Bailey got hot early, helping his team dig out of a ten-point deficit just two minutes into the game against Indiana.

Keyonte George found Bailey backdoor for a two-handed slam on his first bucket of the night.

He followed it up with a three-pointer 20 seconds later off another George assist.

Bailey came back in the second quarter, and the three-ball was still working. The silky smooth 6’7 wing drained two deep threes in the opening minutes of the quarter as Utah opened up a lead over the Pacers.

Seconds later, another dunk, this one assisted by Kyle Filipowski, gave the rookie a career-high 13 points.

He ended the half with a buzzer-beating tip-in for 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting with three shots from deep.

Bailey reached 20 points early in the third period with his fourth three of the night. He heads to the fourth quarter with four rebounds and an assist to go with his first 20-point game.
