Locals In The NFL: Week 15 Player Power Rankings

As the 2025 NFL season enters its final stretch, it’s time to update our local player power rankings.
This season has seen rising stars, top performers cementing their spots among the best, and dips in production from the league’s previous generation of greats.
With just one month remaining in the regular season, let’s look at the top ten NFL players with ties to the state of Utah.

KSL Sports Locals In The NFL Power Rankings
Beginning this NFL season, we’ll post weekly player power rankings that shift as players make their mark.
These rankings are subjective — comparing offensive linemen to defensive backs, and quarterbacks to linebackers will never be perfect.
As the 2025 season goes on, performances in recent years matter less and less. Enough build-up, let’s get to the list.
Honorable Mentions
These are players who are in the mix but still on the outside looking in. An argument can be made for each one of these guys, but they failed to make the top ten for one reason or another.
Jaxson Dart (Roy & Corner Canyon High, Giants QB), Rashid Shaheed (Weber State, Seahawks WR), Taron Johnson (Weber State, Bills CB), Jonah Elliss (Utah, Broncos LB), Cody Barton (Utah, Titans LB), Kaden Elliss (Judge Memorial High, Falcons LB)
There are a handful of injured players who would likely make the top ten if healthy, but are left out of the rankings due to their injury status. This includes players like former BYU LB Fred Warner and former Utah S Julian Blackmon.

10. Cole Bishop – Utah – Bills S
A first-timer in our power rankings, Bishop has quietly put together the best season of his career, and one of the best seasons from a secondary player this year.
In 2025, he has posted 71 total tackles (44 solo), two sacks, three interceptions, and seven pass breakups.
PFF ranks Bishop as a top-15 safety and a top-75 defensive player in all of football
9. Tyler Allgeier – BYU – Falcons RB
Allgeier is one of many players in our top ten who is in the midst of a career year.
The former Cougar has 108 carries, 378 yards, and eight TDs on the season. His previous career-high for touchdowns scored was five, set in 2023.
Unless you’re a Bijan Robinson fantasy football owner, it’s hard not to appreciate what Allgeier has done in 2025.
8. Jaylen Warren – East High – Steelers RB
From one running back raising their ceiling to another, Warren slides in at No. 8.
The biggest difference between Warren and Allgeier is volume, which comes as a result of opportunity in their respective systems.
Warren has 159 carries for 652 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also a threat in the receiving game with 30 catches for 277 yards and two more touchdowns.
PFF ranks Warren as the 12th-best RB in the NFL and a top-six receiving back.

7. Garett Bolles – Utah – Broncos OL
Next on our list is another former Ute, and one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL, Garett Bolles.
Denver has a top-three O-Line in the NFL and a league-best 11-2 record to match. A lot of that credit is owed to the left tackle.
PFF ranks Bolles as the best pass blocker in the league and the fourth-best offensive lineman overall.
6. Dalton Kincaid – Utah – Bills TE
Despite missing a few games with an injury, Kincaid is on pace to set a new career-best for receiving yards to pair with his five touchdowns.
He needs about 190 yards over the next four games to surpass his 673-yard mark from his rookie campaign. Over his last five games, he’s averaging 62 yards per contest.
PFF ranks Kincaid as the seventh-best tight end and 26th overall receiver this season.
5. Bobby Wagner – Utah State – Commanders LB
Fresh off what might’ve been his best game of the year, Wagner makes another top-five appearance in our rankings.
In a loss to the Vikings, the former Aggie had 15 total tackles (six solo), one sack, and one stuff.
Considering it’s been a down year for Washington, Wagner isn’t necessarily an advanced-stats darling, but he still comes in as a top 25 linebacker according to PFF. That said, his impact both on and off the field can’t be overstated.
4. Devin Lloyd – Utah – Jaguars LB
Maybe the biggest jump from any player, both in our rankings and in the entire NFL, comes from Devin Lloyd.
He has five interceptions, which is the most ever by a Jacksonville linebacker and the second-most in the league currently.
PFF ranks Lloyd as the best linebacker and eighth-best defender among active players.

3. Jordan Love – Utah State – Packers QB
At No. 3 in our rankings is a player currently in the top five for NFL MVP odds.
On the season, Love has 3,028 yards and 22 touchdowns. Most importantly, he’s led Green Bay to a top-five record in the league.
PFF has love as the second-best quarterback in the NFL, only behind MVP frontrunner Matthew Stafford.
2. Penei Sewell – Desert Hills High – Lions OL
Maybe the best offensive lineman of the 2020s and one of the greatest run blockers of all time comes in at No. 2 on our list.
Sewell has allowed just one sack in each of the last three seasons, and he’s only allowed Goff to be touched four times in 2025.
1. Puka Nacua – BYU – Rams WR
Last but not least, former Cougar wide receiver Puka Nacua rounds out our top ten.
He has already set a new career-high for touchdowns in a season, and he needs exactly 301 yards over the next four games to pass his high mark for yards.
Despite the all-time season we are seeing from Jaxon Smith-Njigba with the Seahawks, PFF still ranks Nacua as the No. 1 receiver in football.
