Video: Kalani Sitake Has Always Been Bold + LeBron Pays Respect To AJ Dybantsa

On December 19, ten years ago, BYU announced that Kalani Sitake was the new head coach of the BYU football program.

Sitake has experienced many twists and turns during his head coaching tenure, but after a decade on the job, he has never shied away from being bold. Now he has BYU set for potentially greater heights with his new long-term extension.

KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper reflected on Sitake’s past 10 years and the moment he was announced as BYU’s head coach.

Harper also gave his predictions for the 2025-26 College Football Playoff. Will former BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff lead Tulane to an upset win over Ole Miss in Oxford?

Then, finally, NBA superstar LeBron James immediately paid his respects to AJ Dybantsa after the final seconds went off for the Lakers-Jazz game.

BYU has a player who could potentially be the face of the sport in the future.

BYU basketball welcomes Abilene Christian to the Marriott Center. Harper previewed the game.
