Isaiah Glasker Announces Return To BYU For Senior Season

PROVO, Utah – BYU star Isaiah Glasker is returning for one final season.

The senior linebacker shared a social media graphic that read, “Not Done Yet.”

He also shared a video on Instagram announcing that he was running it back with a song by Pooh Shiesty playing.

Over the past two seasons, Glasker has been one of the top players in the program. In 2024, Glasker was the leading tackler with 70 tackles.

He followed that up in 2025 with another 66-tackle season, which was tied for second-most on the team.

Over the past two years, Glasker has also totaled 6.5 sacks and five interceptions. In 2024, Glasker led the Big 12 in tackles for loss.

Glasker participated in BYU’s senior day festivities this past November in case he departed for the NFL. Now, he will have a second Senior Day this fall as he prepares for his final season as a BYU Cougar.

A former three-star wide receiver recruit out of Bingham High School, Glasker started his BYU career as a safety, then switched to linebacker in his second year with the program in 2022.

Glasker joins a dozen other BYU players who have publicly announced that they will be returning to BYU in 2026. It’s significant because it comes on the heels of Jay Hill, BYU’s former defensive coordinator, leaving for the same role at Michigan.

Glasker is returning along with fellow linebacker Siale Esera, safety Faletau Satuala, and defensive tackle Keanu Tanuvasa, among the notables on the defensive side.

BYU football finished the 2025 season with a 12-2 record and a victory in the Pop-Tarts Bowl over Georgia Tech.

Since 2024, BYU has been the winningest program in the 16-team Big 12 with 23 victories over the past two seasons.
