Tony Finau Becomes Second Pro-Golf Jordan Brand Ambassador

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah native and PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau has always had a love for basketball. That much is clear with his shoe choices on the golf course.
To remove any doubt, Finau became the second pro-golfer to sign as a Jordan Brand ambassador this week.

The other was 18-year-pro Keegan Bradley. However, it’s worth noting that Bradley just has a shoewear deal with Jordan. Finau is technically the first head-to-toe Jordan Brand ambassador.
Also, an important side note, there are many golfers who wear Jordan gear under the Nike umbrella. But the list drastically shortens when looking specifically at the Jordan Brand.
Other key names for Jordan in the pro-golf scene include Harold Varner III, Bubba Watson, and Pat Perez.

In an interview on the Nike website, Finau made his excitement for the new deal clear.
“I can’t wait to join the Jordan Brand as it expands further into golf,” Finau said. “There’s so much we can do for the game.”
Finau will debut his Jordan threads early in the 2026 season at the Sony Open in Hawaii, which runs from January 15 to 18.

The Salt Lake City native has played professionally since 2007.
The PGA Championship was Finau’s 12th competition of 2025.
He started the 2025 PGA Tour season by tying for 15th at The Sentry on January 5. Following The Sentry, he missed the cut at The American Express and the Farmers Insurance Open later in the month.
Finau bounced back with a 13th and 5th place finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational, respectively. In March, he tied for 36th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, got cut at THE PLAYERS Championship, and tied for 32nd at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
He went through a bit of a slump in April, with two finishes outside of the top 30 and missing the cut at the Masters. He bounced back in May with a T15 finish at the Truist Championship and a top-20 finish at the PGA Championship.
Finau has nine professional victories, including six on the PGA Tour. Finau won four events from 2022 to 2023.
