Hinson, 26, fills the Jazz’s final two-way roster spot that opened after the team sent rookie John Tonje to the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
The forward signed a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after going unselected in the 2024 draft, but was waived before the regular season began.
Hinson then signed with the Golden State Warriors, appearing in 34 games for their G League affiliate, before joining Portland’s Rip City Remix before the 2025-26 campaign.
