VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The Utah Mammoth scored seven goals on their way to a big win over the Vancouver Canucks and a road trip sweep on Saturday.
Clayton Keller scored a hat trick, and three other Utah skaters finished with multiple points in the contest. The win bumped the Mammoth up to 40-30-6 on the season.
Five of the Mammoth’s final six games will be played at the Delta Center. Up next is Edmonton on Tuesday.
We’ll see how things continue to develop but as winners of 5 in a row, Edmonton is now atop the pacific which means Utah would face them in the first round if nothing changes.
That feels like worst case scenario for the Mammoth.
