How to watch Game Night Live Week 3: American Fork Cavemen vs. Timpview Thunderbirds

SALT LAKE CITY – Two weeks into the 2026 high school football season, storylines are beginning to form.

Game Night Live continues on Friday, Aug. 28, when the American Fork Cavemen travel to face the Timpview Thunderbirds in Week 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

Game Night Live will broadcast games every Thursday and Friday on KSL 5.3 (over the air and Comcast cable), as well as on KSLSports.com and the KSL Sports app, under an extended partnership with the Utah High School Activities Association.

Week 3’s Thursday night game features the Weber Warriors taking on the Roy Royals. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. MT. The Hunter at Copper Hills matchup will be tape-delayed on KSL 5.3.

Game Night Live: Week 3

American Fork Cavemen @ Timpview Thunderbirds

The Cavemen (1-1) are coming off a 31-11 loss to Mater Dei High School, the No. 4 program in California.

Sophomore starting QB Jake Matsen has 263 passing yards and three touchdowns against three interceptions.

Timpview (1-1) came up on the short end of a 40-7 loss against traditional juggernaut Corner Canyon last week.

Sophomore QB Matt Mamuna has completed 17-of-24 passes (70.1%) for 247 yards, one TD, and one INT.

American Fork toppled Timpview 48-25 last season.
