Week 3: Friday night’s Utah high school football roundup

SALT LAKE CITY — Thursday’s warm-up led to another wild round of Utah high school football in Week 3 of the 2026 season.
After Mountain Ridge improved to 3-0 with a near-shutout of Davis, American Fork made the key winning moments to hold off Timpview in Friday’s Game Night Live featured matchup.
Here’s what else you may have missed from Week 3 of the Utah high school football season.
NONREGION GAMES
Rigby (Idaho) 27, Farmington 16
Alton Dahl threw a pair of touchdown passes to Kava Fiefia and Brogan Jeppesen as the Phoenix fell to the Trojans at Idaho State University.
Beckett Burton threw three touchdown passes, including two to Sam Nadauld in the third quarter to help the Red Devils hold off the Bulldogs.
Justice Tela ran for two scores for Provo.
American Leadership 31, White Pine (Nev.) 0
The Eagles jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead and shut out the Bobcats.
Salem Hills 14, Desert Hills 12
Cash Hollinsghead threw a pair of touchdown passes to help the Skyhawks hold off the Thunder by a pair of extra points from kicker Jack Nelson.
Deacon Virgin’s touchdown pass gave Desert Hills a 12-0 lead with 7:48 left in the third quarter before Salem Hills rallied.
Titan Borchardt and Kannon Cowan each ran for two touchdowns to guide the Tigers by the Spartans.
Dru Reuss ran for a touchdown and three for two more to lead Murray.
Stetson Stott ran for two touchdowns including a two-yard plunge with 10:05 left in the half to power the Eagles to a 21-0 lead and the win over the Rams.
Tyrel Vest ran for two scores for Parowan.
Liam Fresques threw a pair of touchdown passes to guide the Knights to their first win of the year.
Riker Muhlestein had two passing touchdowns for the winless Flyers.
Canyon View 42, South Sevier 20
Camden Sheridan ran for two touchdowns to power the Falcons by the Rams for a 3-0 start.

Price Armstrong threw for a pair of touchdowns as the Wasps handed the Wildcats their first loss of the season.
Filise Filipe powered in for six rushing touchdowns as the Mustangs stayed unbeaten with a rout of the winless Jaguars.
Tillman Thomas threw four touchdown passes, including two to Carter Hughes as the Lancers handed the Falcons their first loss of the season with a shutout.
Brigham Moses hauled in a 30-yard touchdown from Hyrum Stafford with 4:01 remaining to rally the Bruins to a 3-point road win over the Cougars.
Moses caught two of Stafford’s three touchdowns on the night, and Koa Giles added the other for Mountain View.
Dylan Watahomigie ran for two touchdowns for Union.
Will Bauman guided a balanced offense with two touchdown passes as the Rams handed the Vikings their first loss of the year.
Brett Tovey threw for three touchdowns, and Austin Cannon hauled in two for Viewmont.
Jackson Mann scored on an 11-yard run with 7:31 left in the third quarter to help the Reds rally by the Warriors.
Issaiah Thompson scored on a 66-yard touchdown from Parker Olson to give Snow Canyon a 6-0 lead at halftime.
Cruz Christensen found Krew Robinson for two of his four touchdown passes as the Knights bounced back from a 59-3 loss to IMG Academy with a rout of the Eagles.
Skyline’s Josh Pinnock opened the scoring with a 35-yard field goal before Lone Peak rattled off 45 unanswered points.

Malakai Leilua scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with 2:34 remaining to help the Thunder rally by the Titans in a nonregion game.
Jaxon Pehrson threw five touchdown passes, including two to Carter Kjar as the Chargers shut out the Silverwolves to roll to 3-0.
Jackson Carruth ran for two scores for Corner Canyon.
Graeson Warren threw up a prayer as time expired, and Dawson Dunlevy came down with a 38-yard touchdown as the Cowboys outlasted the Templars in a shootout.
Carter Bell ran for three touchdowns to lead Grantsville, which got a touchdown rushing and another receiving from Crew Allred.
Kingston Wright tossed four touchdown passes for Manti, and Trever Christensen caught three.
Summit Academy 35, Buckeye (Ariz.) 19
Makai Palu’s 24-yard interception return for a touchdown capped a 21-7 fourth quarter as the Bears rallied from a 14-6 halftime deficit to defeat the Hawks.
Braden Boucha scored on a 40-yard pick-six as the Redhawks held off the Titans for a 3-point win.
Bountiful’s Hudson Malmrose and Syracuse’s Ledger Wright each threw three touchdown passes.
West 21, Archbishop Riordan (Calif.) 13
Kamden Lopati threw for a touchdown and ran for another, and Titus Lopati’s 30-yard TD toss to Derendrick Dixon helped the Panthers pull away from the Crusaders for good.
Trevor Mann ran for 134 yards on 21 carries, and Milo Hendry scored on a 19-yard touchdown pass from Luke Lee with 9 seconds remaining as the Hawks outlasted the Rabbits to stay unbeaten.
Three different players threw touchdown passes, including two from Justice Taylor as the Lions rolled past the Cougars.
Sterling Ostler found Bryghton Kumpin with a 3-yard touchdown with 4:10 remaining to help the Beetdiggers hold off the Riverhawks in a battle of winless teams.
Osterl’s touchdown gave Jordan a 13-3 advantage before Jake Woolstenhulme scored on a 15-yard touchdown from Kai Betsinger with 2:12 remaining. But first-year Deer Creek could get no closer.
K’Von Houston found Levi Lavaka for tow of his four passing touchdowns as the Huskies routed the Colts in a shutout.

Corbin Robbins took back a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown with 7:09 remaining to help the Vikings hold off the Wolves.
Davis Carter threw for a pair of touchdowns, and Trey Bradshaw scored on a 1-yard dive with 2:38 remaining to help the Beavers hold off the Spartans.
Ajay Thomas posted a game-high three touchdown runs for Emery.
Davin Green kicked a 37-yard field goal, and scored on a seven-yard run with 9:43 left to help the Buffaloes outlast the winless Pirates.
Gus Pater ran for two touchdowns for Tooele.
Crew Cox threw four touchdown passes, including two to BYU target Owen Leishman to keep the Riverhawks undefeated with a rout of the Bengals.
Noah Fiefia added two rushing scores for Ridgeline.
Dexter Packard ran for four touchdowns to power the Dinos by the Soaring Eagle for their first win of the year
Jacoby Ahlstrom threw two touchdown passes to Zach Muirbrook for winless Juan Diego.

Brex Robinson ran for two touchdowns, and the Eagles scored five defensive touchdowns in the largest win in school history.
Porter Dyreng scored two rushing touchdowns as the Bulldogs overwhelmed the Red Devils.
Cordon White and Colton White each threw for a touchdown and ran for two more as the Wildcats shut out the Golden Eagles in three quarters of a mercy rule-shortened game.
Landon Woods threw for three touchdowns and ran for two as the Utes routed the host Warriors.
Beau Yeomans threw four touchdown passes — all to Randall Black — and Brigg Palmer ran for touchdowns of 60, 61 and 29 yards as the Broncos swamped the Cowboys.

Colton Johns threw for five touchdowns, including two to Jahmi Harrison-Bismillah as the Eagles routed the Bulldogs in the Gem State.

Hu Alisa powered his way to four rushing touchdowns as the Mustangs cruised past the Aviators.
North Sevier 48, Judge Memorial 15
Houston Mickelsen threw for four touchdowns, including three to Davis Malmgren to guide the Wolves past the Bulldogs.

Box Elder 31, Highland (Idaho) 19
Judd Howells and Kadyn Reyes ran for two touchdowns apiece to guide the Bees by the Rams at Idaho State University.
Panguitch 52, Monument Valley 14
The Bobcats cruised to a win over the Cougars in a 1A 8-player game.
Monticello 57, Water Canyon 20
The Buckaroos jumped out to a 36-14 lead at halftime and never looked back in a 1A eight-player rout over the Wildcats.
