How to watch No. 17 Utah football vs. Utah State: TV channel, kickoff time, streaming

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah football will close out its three-game homestand with an in-state matchup against Utah State on Saturday afternoon at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The No. 17 Utes enter the matchup 2-0 after a dominant 43-10 win over Arkansas. Utah State is 0-2, but the Aggies showed significant improvement last week in a 16-14 loss at No. 19 Washington.
Saturday will mark the latest installment of the “Battle of the Brothers” rivalry and will also serve as Utah’s annual Ute Proud Game and Hall of Fame Game.

Utah’s official game information lists the matchup for 1:30 p.m. on FOX, with ESPN 700 and 92.1 FM carrying the radio broadcast.
Utah’s identity beginning to take shape
Two games into the season, Utah is starting to look like the team Morgan Scalley envisioned.
The Utes have maintained their physical style while adding more versatility on offense. Kevin McGiven has moved players such as Byrd Ficklin and Daniel Bray around the formation, rotated multiple backs and tight ends, and created an offense that can attack in different ways.
Scalley has also pointed to the unselfishness within the group as a reason it has worked.
“You may get yours one week, you may not get as much the next week, but it doesn’t matter who scores, it matters that we score,” Scalley said Monday.
The offensive line has also taken encouraging steps, while Utah’s defense has tackled well and limited explosive plays through the first two weeks.
Saturday against Utah State gives the Utes another chance to reinforce those early strengths before Big 12 play ramps up.

Utah State showed progress at Washington
Utah State’s 0-2 record does not completely reflect how the Aggies played in Seattle.
After opening the season with a disappointing loss to Idaho State, Utah State nearly upset No. 19 Washington. The Aggies held the Huskies to one offensive touchdown and had an opportunity to win the game late before falling 16-14.
The Utah State defense was particularly impressive, allowing only three points following three offensive turnovers and repeatedly keeping the Aggies within striking distance.
It creates a different type of challenge for Utah after the physical test Arkansas provided.
The Utes will be heavy favorites, but the Aggies showed last week they are capable of making an opponent work for points.
Ute Proud and Hall of Fame Game
Saturday will feature several events beyond the matchup itself.
Utah will celebrate its annual Ute Proud Game, which recognizes the culture and traditions of the Ute Indian Tribe and the long-standing relationship between the tribe and the university.
The 2026 Utah Athletics Hall of Fame class will also be recognized at halftime. The class includes former Utah offensive lineman Zane Beadles, gymnast Daria Bijak, skier Katrin Smigun, basketball standout Delon Wright, former basketball coach Jerry Pimm and the 1991 softball team.
Fans are encouraged to be inside Rice-Eccles Stadium by 12:45 p.m. for pregame festivities. Utah is also anticipating what would be its 98th consecutive sellout.
The team arrival is scheduled for approximately 11:05 a.m. outside Gate L on 500 South.
Utah and Utah State kick off Saturday at 1:30 p.m. MDT at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
