Roy Hosts Timpview In 5A Quarterfinal

ROY, Utah – The quarterfinal round of the 5A playoffs is this weekend. The KSL Game Night Live Game of the Week features Roy taking on Timpview.
The Royals beat Maple Mountain in the first round, 40-0. Their defense is one of the best in 5A, ranked No. 4 this season.
Timpview knocked off Highland, 35-10 in their first round game.
Roy’s defense will have their hands full with Timpview’s rushing attack led by Sione Moa. He averages 8.68 yards per carry to go along with a team leading 12 touchdowns.
Royals running back Ammon Ahquin adds 6.86 yards per carry and Targhee Lamson has 5.62 yards per carry on the ground.
Their offense is scoring 33 points per game and is led by quarterback Jaxson Dart with 12 touchdown passes and has rushed for five more scores on the ground.
