SALT LAKE CITY — Utah high school football is back up.
After a three-game appetizer Thursday that included Mountain Ridge’s statement-making win over Skyridge, the Utah high school football season returned to a full slate of 55 games Friday night — including four games in the 1A eight-player classification.

1A 8-player football
UMA-Camp Williams 27, Panguitch 22
Utah Military Academy-Camp Williams traveled to Panguitch and returned with a 27-22 win over the Bobcats.
Braxton Hansen threw four touchdown passes, and Milford rushed for four more scores to invoke the UHSAA’s 44-point mercy rule in three quarters against the Raiders.
Cutler Netto, Crew Griffiths, Braxton Hansen and Tayon Blackburn each ran for a touchdown for the Tigers (1-0), and Kasen Smith, Haze Marshall, Kamdon Spaulding and Tayon Blackburn caught a touchdown pass.
Justin Kimmerle tossed six touchdown passes as the Red Devils stormed to a 15-point win over the Wildcats.
Beto Carroll caught three touchdown passes for Grand (1-0), including a 49-yard reception in the third quarter and a 27-yard score with 6:15 remaining.
Deagan Williams threw for two touchdowns and ran for another for Water Canyon (0-1), which led 22-8 after the first quarter.
