Tony Finau Finishes The Masters Tournament Tied For 38th

AUGUSTA, Ga. – After making the cut on Saturday, Tony Finau ended The Masters with a -1 score.

Finau finished the majors tournament tied for 38th, along with Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood, Billy Horschel, Paul Casey and Christian Bezuidenhout. He entered the final round on Sunday at -1 and went even par in the round.

It was a great start to the Sunday round for Finau after starting on the back nine first. He started with three straight pars on No. 10, 11 and 12. On No. 13, Finau made a birdie before struggling to end the back nine. He made double bogey on No. 14, bogey on No. 15, par on No. 16, bogey on No. 17 and par on No. 18. Finau went +3 on the back nine.

On the front nine, Finau shot back-to-back birdies on Nos. 1 and 2 before knocking in five straight pars, followed by a birdie on No. 8 and a par No. 9. He shot -3 on the front nine.

Finau made four birdies, 11 pars, two bogeys and a double bogey in his final round.

Mike Weir

Former BYU golfer and Sandy, Utah resident, Mike Weir entered the final round at -2, but shot a 76 on Sunday and ended the tournament at +2, tied for 51st with Jazz Janewattananond, Zach Johnson and Rafael Cabrera Bello.

Weir started with a par on No. 1, followed by birdie on No. 2 and a par on No. 3. After that, Weir made bogey on three of his next four holes at Nos. 4, 5 and 7, while making par on No. 6. He ended the front nine with two pars. On the back nine, Weir started with a par on No. 10, bogey on No. 11, birdie on the 12th hole and bogey on No. 13. He made four straight pars before finishing the back nine with a bogey on No. 18.

In the round, Weir made two birdies, 10 pars and six bogeys.
