Bobby Wagner Snatches Interception From Panthers Receiver

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former Utah State and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wanger snatched the ball from Carolina Panthers wide receiver Chris Hogan.
The pick came in the second quarter when Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen threw a pass to Hogan, who nearly caught the ball when Wagner jumped the route and took the ball away.
Wagner returned the interception six yards to the Seahawks own 27-yard line. It’s the first interception by Wagner this season and the 10th of his career.

The Seahawks had a 20-7 lead at the time of the interception and Wagner was up to 10 tackles, including 3 solo tackles and 2 pass deflections. Entering the game against the Panthers, Wagner had 129 total tackles, 72 solo tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 quarterback hits, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 4 pass deflections.
Earlier this season, Wagner became the Seahawks’ all-time leading tackler in franchise history.
Seattle is 10-3 on the season, while the Panthers are 5-8 and fired their head coach two weeks ago.
