SEATTLE, Wash. – Former Utah State running back Robert Turbin will be returning to the Seattle Seahawks after agreeing to go back to the NFL.

Turbin was taken in the fourth round, 106th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seahawks.

He spent three seasons with the Seahawks where he won a Super Bowl. Turbin played 23 games for the Seahawks and had 928 yards, along with 43 catches for 427 yards and two touchdowns. After the 2014 season, Turbin signed with the Cleveland Browns, where he played 3 games before joining the Dallas Cowboys for 7 games.

In 2016, Turbin signed with the Indianapolis Colts and spent three seasons there. He had 227 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns. After the 2018 season, Turbin did not get picked up by an NFL team until the Seahawks signed him this week.

Through his career, the former Aggie has rushed for 1,354 yards and 9 touchdowns. The Seahawks will have a reunion with their running backs as reports indicate that Marshawn Lynch will be going back to Seattle after the Seahawks lost two of their running backs on Sunday after suffering season-ending injuries.

Turbin will be reunited with college teammate and Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, who has been in Seattle since he was drafted in 2012.

The Seahawks will host the San Francisco 49ers with the winner taking the NFC West Division. The game will be on Sunday at 6:20 p.m. on KSL TV on Sunday Night Football.
