Former Utah RB Devontae Booker Scores First Touchdowns With Giants

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah and current NFL running back Devontae Booker scored for the first time as a member of the New York Giants during a game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys hosted the Giants at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, October 10.

With 2:51 left in the first half, Booker punched the ball into the end zone from one yard out on a 4th & Goal play.

The score tied the game at 10-10.

It was Booker’s first touchdown as a member of the Giants.

After the play, Booker had nine carries for 28 yards and a touchdown.

With 3:17 remaining in the fourth quarter, Booker reached the goal line again. The former Ute’s second touchdown came on a second effort where Booker extended the ball into the end zone.

The play cut Dallas’ lead to 34-20.

The Giants ended up falling to the Cowboys, 44-20.

Booker finished with 16 carries for 42 yards. He added three catches for 16 yards and a touchdown.

The running back signed with New York during the offseason.

He has scored 11 rushing touchdowns during his six years in the NFL.

With the loss, the Giants fell to 1-4 on the season.

New York’s next game is against Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, October 17 at 11 a.m. (MDT) on FOX.
