Week four of the 2025 NFL season kicks off tonight!
From Thursday to Monday, there are plenty of intriguing matchups with ties to the state of Utah worth following.
Here’s a look at the top games — including the one we think stands out above the rest.

Noteworthy Locals In The NFL Week 4 Matchups
Chiefs vs. Ravens – Sunday, September 28 at 2:25 p.m. (MT)
The battle of two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks will also feature some notable local players.
With former BYU Cougar Andy Reid leading the show, Kansas City has former BYU offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia, former Utah State wide receiver Jalen Royals, and Kearns standout linebacker Jeffrey Bassa.
Baltimore also has a BYU alum, linebacker Kyle Van Noy.
Falcons vs. Commanders – Sunday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. (MT)
The state of Utah will be well-represented in this matchup. A former Ute, former Cougar, former Aggie, and a high school standout will all hit the gridiron.
Atlanta has former BYU running back Tyler Allgeier, former Utah cornerback Clark Phillips III, and Judge Memorial linebacker Kaden Elliss.
Washington has former Utah State linebacker Bobby Wagner and former Utah kicker Matt Gay.
Bills vs. Saints – Sunday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. (MT)
Buffalo has been on a tear to start the season and will look to keep the ball rolling with New Orleans in town.
Buffalo has Highland High tight end Jackson Hawes, Utah tight end Dalton Kincaid, Utah safety Cole Bishop, and Weber State cornerback Taron Johnson. Both Hawes and Kincaid got into the end zone in week three.
New Orleans has two local receivers, Weber State’s Rashid Shaheed and Utah’s Devaughn Vele. The Saints also have former Utah safety Julian Blackmon and BYU tight end Taysom Hill, but both are on the injured reserve.

- As Houston hosts Tennessee, Bingham High TE Dalton Schultz will line up across from Utah linebacker Cody Barton.
- Former BYU WR Puka Nacua looks to keep his strong start going as the Rams take on the Indianapolis Colts.
- A battle between local linebackers, BYU’s Fred Warner and Utah’s Devin Lloyd will face off as the 49ers host the Jaguars. Jacksonville also has former Ute WR Tim Patrick.
- Former Utah State QB Jordan Love will lead the Packers into a Sunday night primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Green Bay also has two former BYU Cougars, RB Chris Brooks and S Zayne Anderson. Also of note, Micah Parsons will face his former team for the first time.

Week Four’s Top Game To Tune In To For Locals
Giants vs. Chargers – Sunday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. (MT)
Our game of the week doesn’t have the most locals, but the storyline is worth tuning in for.
Former Roy and Corner Canyon quarterback Jaxson Dart will make his first start for the New York Giants. For Los Angeles, two more high school standouts, Herriman offensive lineman Andre James and Orem’s Alohi Gilman.
New York started the season 0-3, and head coach Brian Daboll announced this week that Dart would get his first NFL start. LA has one of the better defenses in the league, so it should be an interesting game at MetLife on Sunday morning.
