Taysom Hill Can Now Be Used As Tight End In Fantasy Football Leagues

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – New Orleans Saints do-it-all star Taysom Hill is now an intriguing target in fantasy football leagues. ESPN Fantasy announced today that Hill would no longer be classified as a quarterback.
Instead, the former BYU star will be classified as a tight end/flex in ESPN’s Fantasy Football player database.
ESPN fantasy football writer Mike Clay made the announcement public. “Big news – Saints OW Taysom Hill has been granted TE/Flex eligibility in @ESPNFantasy leagues. He will no longer be eligible at QB, though we reserve the right to strip TE/Flex and add QB if he takes over as starter during the 2020 season. Plan accordingly, deep leaguers!”

In your leagues, Taysom Hill becomes an intriguing option now in leagues. Last year, Hill accounted for over 100 points in standard-scoring leagues. Now with his role as the Saints “F Position” (QB/WR/TE/RB) expected to expand after a $21 million contract extension, Hill might have value in 12-team leagues.
For those of you who don’t play fantasy football, scoring in fantasy leagues is based around stats on the field. Every touchdown scored as a receiver or running back is good for six points. 10 receiving yards equals one point. Some leagues also award points for every reception hauled in as well.
Fantasy Football seasons begin week 1 of the NFL regular season. The NFL is expected to release the 2020 regular-season schedule on May 9th.
