Tyler Huntley Throws Touchdown Pass For Ravens’ First Points Against Bengals

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley threw a touchdown pass for the Baltimore Ravens’ first score in their Wild Card matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals hosted the Ravens at Paycor Stadium for Sunday Night Football on January 15.
With 4:53 to go in the first half, Huntley found J.K. Dobbins for a two-yard touchdown and the Ravens’ first points of the game.
Huntley’s connection with Dobbins cut Cincinnati’s lead to 9-7.

After the score, Huntley was 5/7 passing for 43 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He’d also run the ball three times for six yards.
Huntley started the game after missing the Ravens’ regular season finale due to injury. It was Huntley’s first postseason start.

Before missing the Week 18 finale, Huntley started four consecutive games for the Ravens. On December 4, Huntley replaced Jackson after he suffered a knee injury during Baltimore’s win over the Denver Broncos.

During his five games played this season, Huntley has helped the Ravens to a 3-2 record, including 2-2 in starts.
He’s thrown for 658 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in 2022. Huntley has also run the ball 43 times for 137 yards and a touchdown.
The Ravens finished the regular season in second place in the AFC North division with a 10-7 record.

About Tyler Huntley
Before his in the NFL, Huntley was a standout player at the University of Utah. He played for the Utes from 2016-19. During his Utah career, the Dania, Florida native threw for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions with a 67 percent completion rate.
Huntley signed with the Ravens after going undrafted following the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’s spent the majority of his time in Baltimore as the backup to Jackson.

The former Utah star has thrown for 1,624 yards, four touchdowns, and six interceptions during his three seasons with the Ravens. He’s also run for 430 yards and three touchdowns.
Huntley will be a free agent after the season.
