Brayan Vera Leaves Game In First Half Following Violent Collision

SAN DIEGO, California – Real Salt Lake defender Brayan Vera left the match 15 minutes in after absorbing a massive collision with goalkeeper Rafael Cabral.
RSL (3-6-0, 9 points) faced expansion San Diego FC (4-3-2, 13 points) at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday, April 26.

San Diego played a dangerous ball forward, toward the top of the 18-yard box. Cabral came barreling out of his goal to bat the ball away, making contact with Vera’s head as he punched the ball away.
Vera crumbled to the turf in a heap before Cabral and teammates immediately signaled for the help of trainers. After several minutes on the turf, Vera walked off under his own power.
The game remains scoreless after 22 minutes.

Agada scored a team-high 12 goals for Sporting KC in 40 appearances (team-high) across all competitions. He scored ten goals and had three assists in MLS regular season play, starting 20 of 32 matches.
Russell began his stint with Kansas City in 2018, playing 232 matches in all competitions with the club. He scored 67 goals overall and 24 goals against MLS teams.
