Diego Luna Dances Around Dallas Defense, Finds Top Corner With Left Foot

FRISCO, Texas – Diego Luna is a true magician with the ball, and he showed that in Dallas with a jaw-dropping first score.
A series of fakes and a spin move led to a left-footed shot from the top of the box that bounced off the left post and into the back of the net.

The goal moved Luna up to seven total for the season. His career high is eight, which was set last season. In less than half of the matches played, Luna is set to crush that number.
His seven goals account for over half of the 12 that RSL has netted this year.
In games where Luna finds the back of the net, Real Salt Lake is 3-1 so far this season.

Following Luna’s 24th-minute score, RSL held strong and took the 1-0 advantage into the halftime break.
RSL Looks For Road Revenge Against FC Dallas
Real Salt Lake will head into Toyota Stadium on Saturday with a goal of revenge against Western Conference foe FC Dallas.
The meeting will be the second between the clubs this season. Dallas came into Utah and handed Real a 1-0 loss in front of the Riot on March 22. An early red card handicapped RSL, which led to a lead-taking goal in the first half at America First Field.
However, in its last five MLS appearances, Dallas has just one win. However, it’s worth mentioning that the sole win was against Inter Miami CF in Fort Lauderdale.
RSL has been plagued by similar struggles. They have just one win in their last four matches.
