Maikel Chang Scores Second MLS Goal To Extend Real Salt Lake’s Lead Over LA Galaxy

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder Maikel Chang scored his second career goal in Major League Soccer to stretch RSL’s lead over the LA Galaxy.

RSL hosted the Galaxy at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday, July 21.
During the 26th minute, Chang struck from outside the box and sent the ball through the Galaxy defense and into the goal.
It was Chang’s second MLS goal and first of the 2021 season.
The goal gave RSL a 2-0 lead.

Chang entered the match with three shots and one shot on goals through eight matches this season.
The midfielder first MLS goal came during the 2020 campaign.

Real Salt Lake’s first goal of the match came from Albert Rusnák during the ninth minute.
