CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In the second quarter against the Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz rookie Isaiah Collier showed off his creativity around the rim.
With Hornets’ big man Mark Williams trailing, Collier faked a left-hand layup before pulling it back to his right.

In the first half, Collier posted six points, three assists, and two steals.
With the three dimes, he tied John Stockton’s Utah Jazz rookie record for assists in a season with 415.
The record is Collier’s to break with two quarters and seven games left on Utah’s 2024-25 schedule.

Drafted at the very end of the first round in the 2024 NBA Draft, Collier has been a pleasant surprise for Jazz fans.
Once the top high school recruit in the nation, the USC guard is averaging 8.1 points and 6.1 assists in his rookie campaign.
Utah Jazz Continue Road Trip In Charlotte Against Hornets
The Utah Jazz continue on their five-game road trip against the Charlotte Hornets tonight.
As two teams in contention in the reverse standings, both teams come into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Looking back further, the Hornets have four wins in the month of March, while the Jazz have just one.
This is the second and final matchup between Utah and Charlotte. Back on January 15, Charlotte stole a five-point win at Delta Center.
Both teams have lengthy injury reports. The likes of LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Walker Kessler, and more will all be sidelined.
