SALT LAKE CITYJazz guard Malik Beasley got things rolling from beyond the arc during a strong quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers hosted the Jazz at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, November 13.

During the first 12 minutes of the second half, the Florida State product led the Jazz with eight points on 2-4 field goals from distance.

At the end of the quarter, the Jazz and Sixers were tied at 78-78. Beasley led the Jazz with 18 points on 6-10 shooting, including 4-7 from three, off the bench. He added two rebounds and two assist. Beasley posted a plus-nine rating during his first 19 minutes of action.

This season, the guard is 11.8 points per game on 42.4 percent shooting. He also averages 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.1 blocks, and 1.0 steals in 25.4 minutes per game.

The Jazz entered the meeting with a 10-4 record, including 5-4 on the road. The Sixers are 6-7 this season and 3-4 at home. The contest is the final game of a three-game road trip for the Jazz.

Utah’s game against Philadelphia is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and KSL Sports Zone.

Jazz vs. 76ers

The Jazz have a quick turnaround as they fly from Washington to face the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers have had a slow start to the season 1-4, before bringing their record to a more respectable 6-7.

Philadelphia split a two-game series with the Hawks where they struggled mightily to score in Atlanta before earning a victory back at home.

James Harden has missed the last four games for the 76ers with a foot injury and won’t return for several weeks, and the team misses his offense.

Philadelphia has the 15th ranked offense through three weeks of the season and 11th ranked defense.

Joel Embiid is having another MVP caliber year averaging better than 27 points and 10 rebounds per game, while Tyrese Maxey is averaging a career-best 22.9 points per outing.
