Celebrities Show Out For Utah Jazz Home Closer Against OKC Thunder

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz welcomed a handful of celebrities to the final home game of the season against the OKC Thunder on Friday.
Actor Tony Hale, actress Edi Patterson, and filmmaker Jared Hess all watched as the Jazz closed out their home schedule.

Hale, most known for his roles as Buster Bluth in Arrested Development and Gary Walsh in Veep, has won multiple Emmy awards as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award. Most recently, he has voice acted in Megamind Rules! and Dream Productions.
Patterson, most known for her role as Judy Gemstone in The Righteous Gemstones, has starred in over 45 roles and has been nominated for multiple awards since 2019.
Hess has directed multiple big films, such as Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre, and most recently, A Minecraft Movie.

Hess attended BYU in the late 1990s and early 2000s and currently lives in Salt Lake City.
Jazz Close Out Home Schedule Against OKC Thunder
The Utah Jazz close out their home schedule tonight with the Oklahoma City Thunder in town.
After dropping nine straight and 10 of their last 19, the Jazz ended their drought with a 133-126 overtime win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Still, Utah owns a 10-30 record at home and sits at 17-63 overall, tied for the worst mark in the NBA.
Meanwhile, the Thunder have been putting together an all-time regular season on the back of MVP-candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. At 66-14, Oklahoma City has earned the luxury of resting players ahead of the playoffs — and rest they will. Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Alex Caruso, Luguentz Dort, and several others are all on the Thunder’s injury report for Friday’s matchup.
This will be the fourth and final matchup between Utah and Oklahoma City this season. The Thunder has dominated the series, winning all three previous matchups by an average margin of more than 17 points.
