Keyonte George to represent Utah Jazz at 2026 NBA Draft Lottery

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz are hoping to land in the top four in the NBA Draft Lottery this weekend, and the franchise is looking to Keyonte George for some good luck.
In three of the last four years, the Jazz have selected a current or former player to represent them at the draft lottery in Chicago.

George, coming off his third season in the NBA, played at a borderline All-Star level all year and was in Most Improved Player conversations.
Other lottery representatives in the franchise’s recent history include Ashley Smith (2025), Thurl Bailey (2024), Collin Sexton (2023), Steve Starks (2016), Randy Rigby (2015 & 2013), and Bryan Miller (2014).

The NBA Draft Lottery will be held at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10, at 1:00 p.m. (MT).

Utah Jazz Draft Lottery History
Since beginning the current rebuild back in 2022, the Jazz have picked at No. 9, No. 10, and No. 5. In each of the last two seasons, they dropped in the lottery and picked later than where their record slotted them.
Utah also dropped in the 2014 and 2005 lotteries. They stayed in place in 2016, 2015, 2013, 2011, 2006, and 2004.
The franchise has only moved up in the lottery once, and that was with a pick acquired from the Brooklyn Nets back in 2011.
