Big Sky Releases 2021-22 Basketball Schedules For Southern Utah, Weber State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Big Sky Conference released the 2021-22 basketball schedules for the men’s and women’s programs at Southern Utah and Weber State.
The conference shared the schedules for the Thunderbirds, Wildcats, and the rest of the Big Sky on July 19 and 20.
For the 2021-22 campaign, the Big Sky is returning to a 20-game, double-round robin slate where each team plays every opponent both home and away.

Southern Utah Thunderbirds
Men’s Basketball
The Thunderbirds will look to repeat as Big Sky Conference champions this season.
SUU opens its conference schedule against the Eastern Washington Eagles on Thursday, December 2.
The T-Birds will wrap up their regular season slate against the Weber State Wildcats on Saturday, March 5.

Women’s Basketball
Like the men’s program, the SUU women’s squad will open their conference schedule against Eastern Washington.
The T-Birds will host the Eagles on Thursday, December 2.

Weber State Wildcats
Men’s Basketball
Weber State starts the 2021-22 conference slate against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
The Wildcats finish the regular season against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on Saturday, March 5.

Women’s Basketball
Like the Weber State men’s basketball team, the Wildcats start their Big Sky schedule against NAU.
The Weber State women’s basketball program will end the regular season schedule against SUU on Friday, March 4.

This season, Big Sky men’s basketball game will be streamed live on ESPN+, with at least one game scheduled to air on ESPNU.
The 2021-22 Big Sky Conference Tournaments will take place in Boise, Idaho from March 7-12.
