Jimmer Fredette Is One Of Three Celebrities With Perfect Final Four Selections

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU basketball star Jimmer Fredette is one of three celebrities who correctly chose the final four schools to be left standing in March Madness.
Fredette’s bracket wasn’t perfect, but he was able to predict the Final Four teams successfully.

NFL quarterback Tyrod Taylor and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins were the other two people who went 4/4 with the Final Four.
Funnily enough, the Cougar alum also correctly picked BYU’s ‘Big Dance.’ He picked them to advance to the second weekend before finally having their run ended by the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide.
Fredette released his bracket on social media on Tuesday, March 18.

This is just the second time in NCAA Tournament history that all four No. 1 seeds have reached the Final Four. The last time was back in 2008.
Both games will be played on Saturday, April 5. Florida and Auburn will face off first at 4:09 p.m. (MT). Houston and Duke will follow with an approximate 6:49 p.m. (MT) tip-off.
About Jimmer Fredette
Fredette played for BYU from 2007-11.
As a senior in 2011, the guard led BYU to a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and an appearance in the Sweet 16.
His senior season performance earned him the Naismith Player of the Year award and he was consensus 2011 national player of the year.
During his time at BYU, Fredette averaged 18.7 points per game on 45.5 percent shooting, including 39.4 percent from beyond the arc. He played in 139 games for the Cougars.

Following his senior season, Fredette was drafted into the NBA with the 10th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Fredette has played professionally since 2011, including spending time in the NBA with five different franchises. He’s played for the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, and Phoenix Suns.
Since 2022, Fredette has played 3×3 basketball for Team USA.
