BYU Basketball Changes Starting Lineup For Cincinnati Game

BYU basketball has made a switch to the starting lineup.
The Cougars are reeling after a two-game losing streak and are preparing to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats on the road inside Fifth-Third Arena. To provide a spark, BYU coach Kevin Young is making a change to the starting lineup.
Khadim Mboup enters the BYU basketball starting lineup
BYU is inserting Khadim Mboup into the starting five in place of Mihailo Boskovic, who has started the past four games since Richie Saunders suffered a season-ending injury on February 14.
Mboup will be earning his second career start. His last appearance in BYU’s starting five was on December 19 against Abilene Christian, which resulted in an 85-67 BYU victory.
Cincinnati is one of the taller lineups in the Big 12 Conference. Mboup stands at 6-foot-9, 224 pounds, and is relentless on the glass.
Mboup, a redshirt freshman from Dakar, Senegal, has season averages of 2.3 points and 4.9 rebounds.
BYU struggled with defensive rebounds in the loss at West Virginia this past Saturday in Morgantown.

The rest of BYU’s starting lineup includes Robert Wright III, Kennard Davis Jr., AJ Dybantsa, and Keba Keita.
Cincinnati will start Day Day Thomas, Jizzle James, Baba Miller, Jalen Celestine, and Moustapha Thiam.
