Betsey’s reported commitment brings BYU up to two portal commitments in the 2026 cycle, joining Kentucky’s Collin Chandler.
Both Chandler and Betsey have a skill set that BYU basketball head coach Kevin Young wants in building out this roster, shooting.
Betsey closed his sophomore year with Syracuse, posting averages of 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds on 40.2% shooting from the field in 18 minutes per game.
