Big Noon Kickoff airs on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (MST). It’s the second time this season that Big Noon Kickoff has been involved in a game featuring BYU.
The last one was a month ago for the rivalry against Utah. BYU won that game on October 18, 24-21.
It’s the third time since last season that Big Noon Kickoff will be on location for a BYU football game. The first time it’s away from Provo.
It’s also the third time this year that BYU is involved in a game that features a national pregame show. Big Noon Kickoff is on location for the second time, and ESPN’s College Gameday was also on location at Texas Tech.
The talent on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff includes former Utah/Florida/Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy, Heisman Trophy winners Matt Leinart and Mark Ingram, along with former Notre Dame and NFL quarterback Brady Quinn.
High-stakes matchup in the Big 12
BYU football enters the matchup with Big 12 and College Football Playoff stakes on the line. The Cougars are 9-1 overall and were ranked No. 12 in last week’s CFP Top 25 rankings.
BYU crushed TCU on Saturday night, 44-13, to improve to 6-1 in Big 12 play.
If BYU wins its final two regular-season games, it will clinch a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game in Arlington, Texas.
Brady Quinn on BYU QB Bear Bachmeier:
"He's kinda gritty, playmaking ability, kind of reminds me of like a right-handed Tim Tebow a little bit. I don't want to get way too ahead of ourselves, he's got that sort of moxie about him." pic.twitter.com/za0QBOPMQn

Meanwhile, Cincinnati is looking to get back on track after two straight losses, including an ESPN College Gameday matchup in Salt Lake City against Utah and a home loss on Saturday to Arizona.
Cincinnati is 7-3 overall and has a 5-2 record in Big 12 play.
BYU leads the all-time series against Cincinnati 3-0. The last visit to Cincinnati for the Cougars was in 2016, when Cincy was a member of The American Conference and BYU was an FBS Independent.
Both programs joined the Big 12 Conference in the 2023 season.
