PROVO, Utah – The BYU football depth chart for game five against the West Virginia Mountaineers is out.
BYU enters the Big 12 matchup with a perfect 4-0 record and No. 23 ranking in the latest AP Top 25 poll.
BYU football depth chart: West Virginia week notes
The fifth depth chart of the 2025 BYU football season gets everyone ready for a home matchup against West Virginia.
Sione Moa was removed from the depth chart
BYU’s backup running back suffered an injury in the fourth quarter of the win at East Carolina. He missed the past week against Colorado due to an injury, and being removed from the depth chart suggests that he will not play this week.
Without Moa, BYU leaned heavily on starter LJ Martin and quarterback Bear Bachmeier to carry the load on the ground.
The second team running back listed this week is speedster Jovesa Damuni, followed by former safety Preston Rex, then Enoch Nawahine, who was the second-team running back at Colorado.
An ‘OR’ at SAM Linebacker
The backup SAM linebacker spot to starter Isaiah Glasker has a slight change. Sophomore Ephraim Asiata, who was the second-string SAM linebacker last week, now has an ‘OR’ between him and another player for that backup spot.
Along with Asiata is redshirt sophomore Maika Kaufusi.
