College Gameday makes picks for BYU-Arizona game

PROVO – ESPN’s College Gameday featured BYU-Arizona as one of the games in its “Saturday Selections” segment.
The weekly pregame show made its way to Austin, Texas, for the Texas-Ohio State game, a top-five matchup.
With College Gameday being in Austin, the celebrity guest picker was Texas Longhorn fan and Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell.

Everyone on the Gameday set, except for Desmond Howard, picked No. 15 BYU to hold serve at home against the Arizona Wildcats in the Big 12 opener.
What’s interesting about Howard’s pick is that one week ago, he picked BYU to win the Big 12.
BYU comes into the game as a favorite and has been excellent at home since 2024, posting a 12-1 record in that stretch. Last week, BYU crushed FCS opponent Utah Tech 63-7.
