PROVO, Utah – BYU football extended a scholarship offer to a prospect with a familiar name.
The Cougars offered Corner Canyon High standout Diesel Dart.

Dart is the younger brother of former Roy High/Corner Canyon High and Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Unlike his older brother, Diesel is a safety and wide receiver prospect.
Diesel Dart receives an offer from BYU Football
He announced his offer from BYU on Wednesday, April 16.

The class of 2027 prospect is listed at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds.
Dart was a key performer for a Corner Canyon team that won the 6A State Championship last season.
For the Chargers’ defense, he had 44 tackles and one interception. On the offensive side, Dart had 23 receptions for 369 yards and two touchdowns.
Corner Canyon defensive coordinator Cody Gardner quoted Dart’s BYU offer post on X, saying, “I’m biased. But this dude is going to explode this summer. P4 guys, you better start building a relationship.”

BYU is the second Power Four program to extend an offer to Diesel Dart. The other is his older brother’s alma mater, Ole Miss. Dart also reports an offer from San Diego State.
