PROVO, Utah – The final home game of 2025 is upon us as No. 11 BYU football prepares to face the UCF Knights with a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game on the line.
The Cougars (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) end the 2025 regular season by hosting the UCF Knights (5-6, 2-6 Big 12) on Saturday, November 29.

LaVell Edwards Stadium promises to be hopping for an 11 a.m. MT kickoff.
BYU clinches a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game with a win. It would be the program’s first appearance in the league’s title game after joining the conference in 2023.

“Temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s with mostly cloudy skies. There’s only a 10-20% chance for some showers to develop, but a lot of those rain chances are toward the end of the game,” Johnson said. “The hope is that the impending Sunday storm system will hold off until late Saturday night.”
When does BYU’s Cougar Canyon begin?
Cougar Canyon takes place on the stadium’s West side from 7:30 a.m. MT on game day. Food trucks and activities for all ages will be available. BYUtv’s pregame show, Sports Nation GameDay, and BYU Radio’s Cougar Pregame Live will also be broadcast live from Cougar Canyon.
Cougar Canyon will remain open until 30 minutes before kickoff, or 10:30 a.m. MT.

The Cougar Walk will take place from the north end of Cougar Canyon through the stadium’s southwest corner, starting at 9 a.m. MT.
Stadium gates will open shortly after the Cougar Walk.
What channel is BYU football on?
The BYU football game against UCF is available on ESPN2. Matt Schumaker (PxP), Dustin Fox (Analyst), and Sherree Burruss (Sideline) will be on the call. Kickoff is at 11 a.m. MT.
