Jordan Love Finds Romeo Doubs In The End Zone To Cap Off Win

SEATTLE- The Green Bay Packers led by Jordan Love are inching closer to once again clinching a playoff spot, and their blowout win over fellow NFC contenders the Seattle Seahawks will certainly help them on their way.
The Packers took a sizeable 20-3 lead into halftime, but the 12th man helped the home team Seahawks battle back throughout the course of the second half. Seattle outscored Green Bay 10-3 coming out of a locker room to cut the lead to 10 early in the fourth quarter.
With a little more than five minutes remaining in the game, the Packers were touchdown hunting near the red zone, but the Seahawks defense had forced the Packers into a third-down situation and only needed one more stop to force a field goal and keep it a two-possession game.
The Seahawks sent five rushers but the Packers offensive line held strong, giving Jordan Love plenty of time to survey the field. A Seattle linebacker finally gave Love pressure, but he had already made his decision.
Jordan Love launched a pass toward Romeo Doubs in the end zone who had to go low to scoop the ball off his shoelaces. He maintained control without letting the ball touch the ground as he rolled and hit the turf inbounds.
The touchdown was Love and Doubs’ second scoring connection of the night and put the game out of reach in Seattle. Green Bay would go on to win 30-13.
Jordan Love finished 20/27 with 229 yards and two touchdowns.

About Jordan Love
Before his time in the league, the Bakersfield, California native played at USU from 2016-19. During his time with the Aggies, Love threw for 8,600 yards, 60 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions with a completion rate of 61 percent.
In 2020, the Packers traded up to select Love with the No. 26 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
During his rookie campaign, the former USU standout was inactive for each of Green Bay’s games.
Love saw limited action in his second and third seasons with the Packers and continued to serve as the backup to four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers. Following the 2022 season, the Packers traded Rodgers to the New York Jets. The Rodgers trade paved the way for Love to be Green Bay’s QB1 in 2023.

In his first three seasons, Love threw for 606 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions with a 60.2 percent completion rate in 10 games played.
In 2023, Love threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also ran for 247 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Packers to a 9-8 record in the regular season.
In two playoff games, the former USU signal-caller threw for 466 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions.
