Aggies Searching For Third Straight Win Against Hawai’i

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies will go for their third straight win of the season when they host Hawai’i at Maverik Stadium early Saturday afternoon.
Utah State is in contention for a division title, while Hawai’i is searching for their second conference win of the season.
Utah State’s Offense Rolling
It’s been nice to see Utah State rolling on offense and putting points on the scoreboard. They have scored 21 points or more in five of their seven games played. Utah State had 20 points in their loss to BYU. The two games where they scored less than 21 points was their two losses.
Logan Bonner has completed 59% of his passes for 1,766 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Eleyon Noa has been the main running back in the last two games for USU, racking up 274 yards and one touchdown this season.
Deven Thompkins is among the top receivers in the country with 56 receptions for 923 yards and six touchdowns. Brandon Bowling, Derek Wright and Justin McGriff are all over 200 receiving yards.

About Hawai’i
The Rainbow Warriors are 4-4 overall and 1-2 in Mountain West play. They have wins over Portland State, New Mexico State twice and Fresno State. Their losses came against UCLA, Oregon State, San Jose State and Nevada.
Chevan Cordeiro is the quarterback for Hawai’i, completing 54% of his passes for 1,410 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions. They have primarily used two running backs but three have extensive amount of carries. Dae Dae Hunter is the leading rusher with 78 carries for 558 yards and three touchdowns. Dedrick Parson has racked up 403 yards and six TD’s.
Nick Mardner is the leading receiver with 29 receptions for 583 yards and three scores. Calvin Turner Jr. has the team high in receptions with 44 for 514 yards and two TD’s.
Utah State and Hawai’i will kickoff at 1 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on The Zone Sports Network and seen on Spectrum Sports.
