4th Down Trick Play Gives Utah State Momentum Against Texas A&M

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football showed in week one that it is willing to experiment with ways to get the football in the hands of athlete Anthony Garcia.
The trickery continued in week two when Garcia lined up at wide receiver before throwing a first-quarter touchdown pass to Miles Davis.
USU is facing its first road test of the season when it takes on the No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field in Bryan-College Station, Texas, on Saturday, September 6.

Garcia took the handoff from Bryson Barnes on what looked like a jet-sweep to the right. Garcia pulled up to pass but was swarmed by the defense, forcing him to cut back to his left.
After regathering his senses, Garcia lofted a pass to a wide-open Miles Davis for a touchdown. It was the first touchdown pass of Garcia’s career.
A two-point conversion attempt was denied, keeping the score 7-6.
Texas A&M currently leads 17-6 early in the second quarter.
