Gerold Bright Scores Two Quick Rushing Touchdowns For Utah State

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State running back Gerold Bright scored two rushing touchdowns quickly with only four plays in between the runs into the end zone against Nevada.
The first touchdown was a 67-yard run to give the Aggies a 29-3 lead early in the fourth quarter. When Nevada had the ball back, quarterback Malik Henry threw his second interception of the game. Utah State had one play that had quarterback Jordan Love finding wide receiver Siaosi Mariner for a 48-yard pass.
Bright ran in his second touchdown of the night on the next play from 9-yards out.

To that point in the game, Bright had 126 rushing yards on just 15 carries, averaging 8.4 yards per carry. It’s his first run into the end zone since their win over Stony Brook on September 7. Bright has four touchdowns this season.
His best game was against Colorado State on September 28 when he ran the ball 36 times for 179 yards but didn’t get into the end zone.
